Stefano Baia Curioni, President of the Italian Renaissance Fund, professor of Economic History at Bocconi University, has spent most part his professional and educational life committed the arts and cultural heritage of Italy. For the last decade, Professor Baia Curioni has been responsible for the Arts and Culture Department at Bocconi University, is Vice president of the ASK Reseach Center at Bocconi University, which focuses on the management and economics of Heritage and Arts in Italy and Director of the Graduate Degree in Economy for Arts and Culture (ACME) at Bocconi University.
Over the past two years Professor Baia Curioni has also held memberships in the Commission for Heritage Valorisation – Italian Ministry for heritage and cultural activities, and has served on the tecnical commitee for cultural heritage (Lombardia Region) and the scientific committee of Palazzo Te in Mantova and in the board of Fondazione Ratti in Como.
His educational background began over 30 years ago at Bocconi University where Professor Baia Curioni received his Laurea degree from the Istitution Università Commerciale L. Bocconi in Milan with a concentration on economic history, statistics and social sciences.
Professor Baia Curioni‘s International experiences adds to the depth of his knowledge and experience with preserving Italy’s cultural heritage, thereby enhancing his vision for international collaborations through culture heritage initiatives.
Professor attended seminars of such prestigious instructors such as Fernand Braudel, Alberto Tenenti, Maurice Aymard, Marc Soriano at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. He also participated in a Doctorat troisieme cycle at the Istitution Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris studying History and Civilization.
