The beauty of the Duomo is not Milanese, or Italian, or European.
It's human. It belongs to all of us, wherever we are. Beppe Severgnini

We do. And we have a goal! To initially raise $45,000.00 by 22 December and a total of $180,000.00 by the opening of the Universal Exposition in Milan on 1 May 2015 to restore a spire of the Duomo di Milano to its original beauty! Join us!
Italy is renowned worldwide for its artistic and cultural heritage. Milan is universally represented by cuisine, fashion, design, and above all by his most cherished symbol: the Duomo di Milano.
Only together can we take charge of the irrevocable commitment to transmit to future generations this invaluable artistic and cultural heritage that belongs not only to Milan and his people, but to the entire world.
This project symbolizes a limitless love of action, a rediscovery of shared values, and the strong, immemorial bond that ties together the United States and Italy.
Our ambitious campaign aims to support the complete restoration the spire of the Duomo di Milano dedicated to St. Francesca Cabrini. This great Italian woman, at the beginning of the 20th century, crossed the United States, consecrating her life to the poor, earning the title of "mother of migrants". Francesca is synonymous with freedom and with what it means to be a citizen of the world.
Thanks to the International Patrons of Duomo di Milano Inc. and the unique partnership with Eataly, the Duomo di Milano can offer to all American citizens the extraordinary possibility to take part actively in the restoration of this unique monument! Seizing upon the one in a life occasion of the exhibition of some original architectural components of the cathedral hosted at New York's Eataly flagship store.
